See What Others Had to Say About Fairy Rock:
"I have been fishing with Randy since
2000. He has always been eager to make sure everything is in order and
everybody has a good time. I really like the fact we have the entire lake to
ourselves and have the freedom to fish as much, or as little, as we want.
Every year I look forward to making this trip to visit with Randy and Tammy,
catch lots of quality fish; and, a week in this wilderness setting really
helps me to wind down from all the hustle and bustle of daily life back
home."
"Great
hosts, beautiful setting, and fantastic fishing! What more could you ask
for?" - Mike
"A couple of
years ago my Dad and I were fishing one of our favorite spots on Fairy Rock
Lake in separate boats. As usual there was a little father/son competition
going on. To my delight, I caught a 43" trophy northern right at lunch time.
After taking some photos and releasing the fish unharmed I suggested to my
diabetic Dad that it was time to break for lunch. He refused on the basis
that the big ones were hitting right then. Within 20 minutes he boated a 45"
northern pike and my bragging rights to the trip's biggest fish quickly
disappeared. Only then did he agree to stop for lunch so he could tell me
all about his superior catch." -Hal
"I made my
first fishing trip to Canada as a boy in 1965. I have fortunately missed
only a handful of summers since then. The camp that Randy and Tammy run on
Fairy Rock Lake is unique in my experience. You get the solitude of an
outpost with the security of an on-site camp manager. Their set-up has
allowed me to put together fishing parties including kids, seniors and
novices that otherwise I would have worried about taking into the
wilderness. Fairy Rock is a productive lake and Randy and Tammy are
outstanding hosts." -Hal
"We have
enjoyed the terrific scenery, wildlife (moose, bear, mink, many Eagles), and
the tremendous hospitality of Randy and Tammy for the past 8 summers. The
accommodations are clean and spacious, the large living/dining room is
perfect for meals and stories. The freezer and pantry are always well
stocked. The northern pike are large and plentiful with many taken over 40”
each year. The walleye fishing can’t be beat. Dinner is typically caught in
15 minutes at the end of the day."-Phil, Charlie, Bill, Andy, Fred and
Scott
"My sons and
I have fished Fairy Rock Lake for 15 years, and we have caught several 20+
lb. Northerns. The lake is really a walleye
factory, so no one will go hungry!!" - Dave|& Sons
